April 9, 2025, Wednesday Rewired the CAT5 cable in the kitchen:
- Removed old 3-place snap-in wall plate and the external jack, each jack was using a single pair
- Wired an RJ25 telephone snap-in module using Blue and Orange pairs
- Wired an RJ45 Ethernet snap-in module using Green and Brown pairs
- Installed modules in a 2-place snap-in wall plate and mounted the wall plate
- Sadly, there is no wire/cable routing hole in the granite counter top.
