COAX #1 | F-connector | Blue + Orange | Telephone |
COAX #2 | F-connector | [BLANK] | |
COAX #3 | F-connector | Green + Brown | Ethernet |
The rear of the TV cabinet contains AC sockets, wiring for the built-in speaker system, and three (3) COAX cables and a CAT2 cable.
The CAT2 cable was initially configured for a single telephone line (using Blue pair), presumably to support the satellite TV service.

- Removed the white-colored wall plate and COAX and telephone jack components from the 2-gang box containing the three COAX and one CAT2 cables
- the 2-gang electrical box was loose in the wall behind the cabinet; secured with screws to a wooden (not a stud) block in the wall structure (not perfect, but will do)
- Installed a brown 3-place snap in module on the left, holding an F-Connector snap-in for each of the COAX cables (COAX cables very inflexible)
- installed a brown 3-place snap-in module on the right, with RJ25 telephone jack (using Blue and Orange pairs) on top, RJ45 Ethernet jack (using Green and Brown pairs) on bottom, and a blank in the middle position
- mounted a brown wall plate
