There are quite a few cables coming into the stereo shelf/cabinet above the TV compartment. In addition to three RG-58 coax connections, RJ11 telephone, and RJ45 Ethernet connections, there are four AC power sockets, and many speaker cables. These are labeled:
- Front L
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to NW speaker
- Front R
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to NE speaker
- Surround L
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to SW speaker
- Surround R
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to SE speaker
- SurroundRear L
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to (?subwoofer?)
- SurroundRear R
- RED and GREEN pair
- connect to (?subwoofer?)
- Zone2 L
- BLACK and WHITE pair
- connect to (?kitchen distribution panel?)
- Zone2 R
- RED and GREEN pair
- connect to (?kitchen distribution panel?)
In addition to these speaker wires, there is an RG-58 cable that connects to a conversion pigtail to RCA connector. I believe this may be a connection from the basement surveillance camera DVR that allows for camera views to be displayed on the TV.
