- Stucco maintenance by J & C Stucco And Stone (Jason and Camille)
- Steve, the project lead, came by with Jason on Sunday (14th) to review the project, we did a walk around
- Crew delivered a trailer and scaffolding Monday evening (15th)
September 17, 2025, Wednesday
- Steve, Jake, XXXX, XXXX began work starting with the shop
- removed a portion of each garage door upright, leaving enough for a full-length gap seal to be installed
- replaced 2-by framing member on right-hand side of A-door, it had rotted through.
- foamed all holes
- cleaned all bands and window sills
- skim coated all
September 18, 2025, Thursday
- Continued work on shop
- working counter-clockwise around the house, started on west side of garage
- cleaned sills and bands wherever there was damage
- cleaned up the area behind gas regulator
- cleaned up the vertical surfaces of the front steps and porch
- after discussion with Steve, decided to follow his suggestion and renew the steps with stucco again, instead of our first thought of cleaning off the stucco and finishing the concrete
- after opening a couple of sample areas on the bubbled wall, the substrate layer looks good. The color layers had delaminated, probably from water penetration
- further stucco removal will reveal if there are more serious troubles
